FileZilla is a downloader program that supports multiple file download on Windows platform. While Windows provides basic download facility using the browsers, a separate download manager is absent in Windows. FileZilla is a download management and enhancement software that allows multiple downloads to be carried out simultaneously. The GUI provides filters for searching as well. Filters can be edited to search for required files over the internet as well. The Download progress is shown using different colors in the download panel. The main menu has a history log that is displayed and shows the tasks as completed, failed, or under progress using different colors.

For P2P facility one needs to install FileZilla in host machines. P2P network must be established before using file sharing over host machines. The machines can be accessed over a local network or through the Internet.
